The story goes... I am presented with an alien artifact that is decorated with spirals (naturally) and can be worn around the neck and, when I put it on, begins to work medical magic repairing my telomere DNA which makes me look and feel 25 and will continue to work for 1000 years after which I will begin to age normally. It also gives me powerful pheromones which can be used to influence people to help me, hide me, falsify identity records, and/or donate money to my continued well-being. (Might as well give myself a somewhat easier time of it.)

The amulet has been handed down through generations of women, originally found 60,000 years ago by a not-quite-modern-human ancestor. (Think of the details that can be added here for weeks of bedtimes! And, the possibilities of evolutionary tinkering. Oh, I'm having fun with this!!! Maybe I should actually research it and write a best-seller???)
